These Terms govern use of the CarrierScore website, API, and MCP server (the "Service"), operated by SYMBOLIQ LLC ("we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
CarrierScore provides risk indicators, monitoring, and carrier-selection evidence reports derived from public data published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation. We archive these public datasets and compute statistical indicators from them.
CarrierScore outputs are summaries of public data and computed statistical indicators. They are not a safety fitness determination, are not endorsed by FMCSA or any government agency, and do not substitute for a carrier's official safety rating, your own investigation, or your own judgment. The Service does not provide legal, insurance, or professional advice, and does not instruct you to use or avoid any carrier. You remain solely responsible for carrier-selection decisions.
The Service depends on data published by third parties (principally FMCSA). We do not warrant that source data, or indicators computed from it, are accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Government data contains errors and publication lags; scores and reports reflect what the underlying data showed at computation time.
API keys are issued per subscription and are your responsibility to keep confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key. One subscription covers one organization's internal use; keys may not be shared with or resold to third parties.
Paid tiers are billed monthly by card via Stripe. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. We resolve or refund disputed charges promptly — contact [email protected]. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.
Underlying government data is public. Our scores, indicators, report formats, software, and site content are our property. Evidence reports you generate may be retained, used, and produced by you for your own compliance and legal purposes indefinitely, including after cancellation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR DECISIONS MADE, OR NOT MADE, IN RELIANCE ON SERVICE OUTPUT.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 2, 3, and 7–9 survive termination.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
